I love to little sprinkles on pasta dish. Taste really great. Dont need to use a lot and it lasts.
Added some to a stock I was cooking vegetables in but was way too salty and I adore salt!
If you use the recommended 4 tsp per 500ml water to make a stock you will have the saltiest soup in the world. Beware!
I used to like having a teaspoon of this in hot water as a comforting hot drink. I know this is gluten free so was looking forward to having a cup. Oh how disappointing... I don't remember it being this salty. I'll use it sparingly in cooking to use it up but I won't be buying again. Which is sad as I loved it years ago.
I've used this as a substitute for salt for years as I love that it has herbs mixed in with it. It's great for adding to pasta, salads, vegetables and fried rice. Just don't follow the suggestion on the packaging about making it into soup. It's much too salty for that!
This stock powder is very food, the best I've found so far. It is high in salt, so don't add much salt if you're using this too. It adds a really nice depth of flavour, I use a pinch in all kinds of things, including meat rubs.
